– We are looking forward to start flying to Finland again. Before the pandemic we operated the route Helsinki-Umeå. – Based on increased demand, the decision to launch a direct route between Helsinki and Stockholm-Bromma was very easy. The route is in line with our long-term strategy of expanding our business outside of Sweden. With this new route, we are not only offering a direct route between Helsinki and Bromma-Stockholm city airport, but also the possibility for our customers to fly from Helsinki to Stockholm and continue the trip within our domestic network in Sweden with only 20 minutes transfer time, says Martin Erkenborn, Chief Commercial Officer at Braathens Regional Airlines (B.R.A).

The flights are operated with the modern propeller aircraft (ATR 72-600) which is the world's most climate-efficient regional aircraft. B.R.A aims to be the world's first fossil-free airline by 2030, to increase usage of biofuel and to be the first commercial airline to fly electric aircraft in Sweden. B.R.A offers their customers to choose MiljöClass, which is a ticket where fossil fuel is exchanged for biofuel. In addition, they compensate for all CO2 emissions at no extra cost to the customer.

B.R.A has so far launched 16 domestic routes (see www.flygbra.se/destinationer) and two international routes.
