Braathens Regional Airlines continues to expand its aircraft fleet and last Friday, the airline's newest aircraft landed in Malmö. The aircraft is an Airbus 320. This new aircraft is the company's 19th plane and will primarily serve tour operator Apollo's customers between Scandinavia and Southern Europe.

During the spring, Braathens Regional Airlines launched a new business segment operating flights on behalf of tour operators. In April this year, the first flight for Ving with passengers from regional airports around Scandinavia to the Mediterranean took off. Now, in October, Braathens Regional Airlines also started flying for Apollo. This strategic aircraft delivery marks an important milestone in the company's continued growth as a charter provider with the same focus on customer satisfaction as for domestic flights. Passengers can expect comfortable seats and a modern cabin design that optimizes passenger comfort on board.

The aircraft with the registration number SE-RGG, leased from Macquarie Aircraft Leasing, has undergone both interior and exterior upgrades with a significant refurbishment of the cabin.

We are very excited to welcome our first Airbus 320 to the fleet. With this new aircraft, we can offer our passengers a pleasant flight with optimal comfort. says Fredrik Matseng, Chief Operating Officer at Braathens Regional Airlines.

This new aircraft is the company's first Airbus 320 and its 19th plane. The fleet until now consists of 14 ATR 72-600 aircraft and four Airbus 319 aircraft. In the autumn, the fleet will be further strengthened by two more Airbus 320 aircraft in November.
